Heating, ventilation and air conditioning
Centralised climate control - underfloor heating, fan coils, air conditioners, heat pumps and heat recovery ventilation. All in one central system.

HVAC is the most complex smart home subsystem to implement and build. This is exactly where proper design saves the most, together with coordination with the subcontractor before the final equipment is chosen.
Controlling heating and air conditioning is not simply a matter of connecting a thermostat. It requires an understanding of the system from the inside - how underfloor heating works, what the response times are, and how the different heating and cooling sources are coordinated.
When heating, cooling and ventilation are integrated into the smart home, they work together instead of competing with each other. In winter, the fan coils switch on only when additional, faster heating is needed, while in summer they operate on their own. The shutters close when the sun heats up the room.
What it includes
Zoned underfloor heating
Individual control of each zone via wall thermostats, with dew point monitoring through floor sensors. Automatic changeover between heating and cooling.
Fan coils and climate units
Integration of fan coils or air conditioning units into the overall control system.
Heat recovery ventilation
Control of a heat recovery system that supplies fresh air, so there is no need to open windows in winter.
Leak monitoring
Sensors at critical points, with automation that shuts off the main stop valve when a leak is detected.
Weather station
A local weather station for automatic control of shutters and climate based on outdoor temperature, wind and light levels.
How we integrate the HVAC system
Coordination with the HVAC subcontractor and integration into the overall system.
Phase 01
HVAC coordination
We discuss the types of heating and cooling units, the zones and the response times of each system, as well as how they need to operate, so that we can integrate them for maximum functionality.
Phase 02
Cabling and sensors
While the cabling infrastructure is being built, cables are also laid for the room thermostats, floor sensors, leak sensors and the weather station.
Phase 03
Programming and automations
Zoned control, seasonal modes, and automations based on weather data and occupancy.
Phase 04
Optimisation
We fine-tune the system after the first season of use for maximum comfort and energy efficiency.
