Multiroom Integration
A project that has evolved into a fully functional BMS system with dozens of integrations and automations.
The entire system is distributed across three electrical panels on three floors.
Integrated subsystems:
Lighting💡:
- Оn/Off;
- DALI lighting;
- Scenes - both zonal and global;
- Presence/motion sensors activated based on external brightness levels;
HVAC🌡️ :
- Zonal control of underfloor heating/cooling via wall thermostats and floor sensors;
- Leak monitoring at critical and potential locations with automation to shut off the main water valve;
- Water filter monitoring;
- Monitoring of outdoor electric underfloor heating;
Motorization🪟 :
- Blinds;
- Curtains
- Garage door;
- Pedestrian and gate doors with direct KNX motor control from Beninca;
Security🔐 :
- Intercom system;
- Access control;
- Integration of alarm system and creation of scenes;
- Integration of “live view” functionality for video surveillance;
- Control of power circuits and sockets;
Local weather station🌤️ :
- Brightness;
- Twilight;
- Temperature;
- Wind;
Multimedia 🔊 :
- Integration and control of multiroom audio;
- Integration and control of a home theatre zone;
- Control via KNX keypads or the Control4 application;
System backbone: KNX
Brain and visualization: Control4
Intercom and access control system : 2N
